Technician & Parts Department Overview with Shop Foreman Sergio Lopez

Technicians:

  • Examine and diagnose vehicles
  • Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor
  • Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service requests to the Service Advisor
  • Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman
  • Monitor repair time and update Service Advisor
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees

Parts:

  • Order, receive, and bill all parts
  • Maintain proper storage of parts
  • Stock shelves
  • Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
  • Pick-up and delivery of parts
  • Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
  • Maintain a superior level of customer service
  • Other duties as directed by management

Attend Company and factory training and keep current with factory technical bulletins

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on various vehicle makes and models (Technicians)
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License and good driving record
  • Solid skills and a strong work ethic

Lube Tech:

Hourly Pay Rate per Job Hours Plus Bonus

Technician:

Hourly Pay Rate per Job Hours with Sign-On Bonus (up to $5000) Plus Production Bonus

Parts Counter:

Sales Draw Plus Bonus
